At Aqua Adventures we pride ourselves on being active in the San Diego paddling community.
We host multiple events and tours each month to encourage persons of all levels to get out on the water.
Aqua Adventures also supports several community partners throughout the year.

ReWild San Diego
Love Your Wetlands Day! Aqua Adventures supports this one-a-year event in which participants get to explore typically closed-off reserves by kayak, learn more about San Diego's coastal wetland habitats, and participate in family friendly activities throughout the day.
SDSU Adapted Athletics
San Diego State University Adapted Athletics was created to provide student-athletes with disabilities the opportunity to excel in athletics and academics at the collegiate level. It is the first competitive, collegiate adapted athletics program in the state of California. Aqua Adventures has supported the program from inception hosting team bonding activites, providing cross training on the water and hosting the Turkey Paddle to benefit the program!
MidWest Paddle League
The Mid West Paddle League's mission is to make stand up paddleboard racing accessible and interesting to athletes of all levels. To build, foster, and support SUP community within the Midwest. Aqua Adventuers supports MWP's grass roots movement to connect the paddling community and "spread the stoke".
San Diego River Park Foundation
The San Diego River Park Foundation is dedicated to improving the health of the San Diego River and to creating a better quality of life for our community through the creation of a park system the length of the 52-mile river. Once a year Aqua Adventures' supports the program to kayak in the River - connecting people to our historic San Diego River and empowering the community to steward and celebrate it with a trash clean up!
Team River Runner
Team River Runner is more than an adaptive sports program; it’s a community that offers opportunities for friendship, new-found purpose, and community service. Aqua Adventutres' has supported TRR in meeting their mission to provide health and healing to our veterans and active duty military personnel through high quality paddle spots adventures for those who've fought for our freedom since 2007.
Get Off Your Rockers
“Get Off Your Rockers” (GOYR) is a club for active adults (50+) in San Diego County who enjoy participating in activities, such as biking, charitable works, hiking, picnics and potlucks, snow skiing, social hours, travel, water sports and so much more! Aqua Adventures has been a proud partner
since 2009.
Team Survivor
Team Survivor San Diego offers free fitness programs open to women of all ages and fitness levels, in all stages of cancer treatment and recovery. They combine fun exercise activities with emotional support contributing to the ongoing healing process for women living with cancer. During the pandemic Aqua Adventures partnered with TSSD as a means to get every individual on the water.
The World Wildlife Fund
WWF’s Panda Paddle is a paddle event with a world-changing cause! Aqua Adventures Kayaks and Paddleboards has provided training clinics, board rentals, race course setup and early racer check in. A day of camaraderie, connection with nature, music…and the most fun race ever. Panda Paddle blends a world-class stand-up paddleboard (SUP) race with a world-changing cause—protecting the natural world and all it gives us.
Youth Non-Profit Programs
Aqua Adventures supports a variety of youth programs including various YMCA's, Youth Groups, Churches, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Outpost Summer Camp and Positive Adventures just to name a few! Our programs enable kids to realize their potential and empower our youth to live healthier lives through paddle sports.
San Diego Kayak Club
The San Diego Kayak Club (SDKC) is a loosely formed group who love paddling and want to share their experience with paddlers at every level of ability. Aqua Adventure supports SDKC with our Wednesday morning workout paddles, fostering safety in kayaking and encouraging the use of proper gear, good judgment, rescue knowledge and adherence to safety regulations.
S.C.O.R.A
Southern California Outrigger Racing Association (SCORA) is dedicated to the perpetuation of outrigger canoe racing both regionally in Southern California and worldwide, and to further maintain the rich Pacific island culture and traditions that are rooted in the sport. Aqua Adventures supports individual paddlers, races and several clubs throughout Sothern California.
Queer Social
Queer social was curated exclusively for LGBTQ+ Folx, from the creators of GIRL SOCIAL + GUY SOCIAL events. Since 2018, Aqua Adventures has been hosting hugely successful in-real-life paddling centered events for the community in San Diego.
